Boeing, Goldman Sachs share gains contribute to Dow’s nearly 50-point climb – MarketWatch

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up Thursday afternoon with shares of Boeing and Goldman Sachs seeing positive gains for the index. The Dow DJIA, -0.13% is trading 45 points higher (0.1%), as shares of Boeing BA, +1.13% and Goldman Sachs GS, +1.28% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Boeing’s shares have gained $2.96 (1.9%) while those of Goldman Sachs are up $4.72, or 1.5%, combining for a roughly 51-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Apple Inc. AAPL, +1.31%, Cisco CSCO, +0.84%, and Visa V, +0.92%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.59-point swing.
