I’M HERE OUTSIDE THE DO YOUR BAR AND LOUNGE WHERE 12 PEOPLE WERE INJURED IN THE SHOOTING THAT TOOK PLACE IN THAT IN THIS BAR BEHIND ME AT AROUND 130. NOW, I WANT YOU OUGHT TO GO AHEAD AND TAKE A LOOK. NOW, ACCORDING TO BATON ROUGE POLICE, THE SHOOTING HAPPENED AROUND 1:30 A.M. INSIDE THE DEARBORN LOUNGE. OFFICIALS SAY AT LEAST FIVE VICTIMS WERE TRANSPORTED TO A HOSPITAL IN AN AMBULANCE AND THREE OF THOSE WOUNDED VICTIMS WERE IN CRITICAL CONDITION WHEN THEY WERE TRANSPORTED FROM THE SCENE. NOW, BATON ROUGE POLICE CHIEF MURPHY PAUL SAYS WHEN THE INCIDENT OCCURRED, THREE POLICE OFFICERS WERE OUTSIDE OF THE CLUB AND THEY IMMEDIATELY RESPONDED TO THE INCIDENT. POLICE SAY THEY DO BELIEVE THIS SHOOTING WAS TARGETED AND NOT RANDOM. WATCHING OUR DETECTIVES WORK THE SCENE WAS A LOT OF EVIDENCE. Baton Rouge police are investigating a mass shooting that left 12 people injured in the early hours of Sunday. According to police, 12 people were shot inside Dior Bar and Lounge at 4619 Bennington Avenue around 1:30 a.m. The police report that investigators believe this was a targeted attack and not a random act of violence. Nine out of 12 of the victims received non-life threatening injuries. Three of the victims received life-threatening injuries but are now in stable condition.
