Search at Manchester home where Harmony Montgomery was last seen continues

As the search for Harmony enters another week, relatives are desperate for answers.

For a second straight day, investigators remained at a home in Manchester, which is the last known location of 7-year-old Harmony Montgomery. Manchester police told News 9 they will continue searching the property on Gilford Street Monday. The current homeowners have no connection to the case. “Kind of scary. We always thought something was weird a few years ago when the house was running on a generator in the middle of the summer but we’ve never seen anything,” said neighbor Kimberly Capen.As the search for Harmony enters another week, relatives are desperate for answers. “We’re hopeful. It’s been a long time since anyone has seen her so emotions are all over the place,” said Harmony’s great uncle Kevin Montgomery.Harmony hasn’t been seen since 2019 and Kevin Montgomery said that’s also the last time he saw her.”Our relationship with that side of the family, Harmony’s caretakers, was strange. So we haven’t gotten no pictures, no conversations, no nothing,” Montgomery said.Montgomery said he did speak up before Harmony’s disappearance was announced.”Some of the people that loved her the most, we had no rights when it came to parents. We had no rights. Things were done. Reports were made,” Montgomery said.In the meantime, Montgomerys imploring anyone with information on Harmony’s whereabouts to come forward.”Please. We want to bring her home,” Montgomery said.A reward for information that leads to Harmony has grown to $94,000.
