Voting in the CBJ October 4, 2022 By Mail Election is now underway! – City and Borough of Juneau – City and Borough of Juneau

The October 4, 2022 City and Borough of Juneau Regular Municipal Election, being conducted as a By-Mail election, is now underway. Ballots were mailed Tuesday, September 13 to all registered Juneau voters at the address on file with the Alaska State Division of Elections and voters are encouraged to check their mailboxes for ballots.

CBJ ballot drop boxes were opened to receive ballots starting on September 15 (see below for locations) and the Vote Centers will be open Monday, September 19 through Election Day, October 4, 2022 at 8:–p.m. (see dates/times below).

BALLOT DROP BOX LOCATIONS:

Auke Bay-Statter Harbor Boat Launch Parking Lot
(NOT the Harbor Office parking lot)
11801 Glacier Highway, Auke Bay

Douglas Library/Fire Hall Community Building
1016 3rd Street, Douglas
Drop boxes will be open until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

VOTE CENTER DATES/TIMES/LOCATIONS:

Vote Centers, where voters can receive voter assistance, request and vote a replacement ballot, or drop off voted ballots they received in the mail, are open Monday, September 19 through 8p.m. on Election Day October 4, at the following locations:

City Hall Assembly Chambers
155 S. Seward Street
September 19 to October 3: Weekdays 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Election Day, October 4: 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Mendenhall Valley Public Library
3025 Dimond Park Loop
September 19 to October 3: Weekdays 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Election Day, October 4: 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
