In Tehran, the U.S. attack on the regime, dubbed “Operation Epic Fury,” was met with cheers and dancing from civilians who were overjoyed at the sight of a strike on the home of an Iranian regime official. “I love Trump,” they chanted. In Washington, D.C., left-wing pundits expressed dismay and called for President Donald Trump’s impeachment.
Ben Rhodes, the former deputy national security adviser known in the Obama White House as “Hamas,” was particularly triggered, posting or reposting at least 18 times between the hours of 3:30 and 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning. The Washington Free Beacon has compiled some of the reactions below.
