Members of the U.S. Coast Guard will still receive paychecks during the government shutdown.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem said in an Oct. 14 post on X that members of the Coast Guard āwill not miss a paycheck this week as they continue to carry out their critical homeland security and military missionsā due to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which was signed in July of this year.
