Gavin Newsom supporter calls Senator Tim Sheehy a ‘disgusting slut’ for attempting to restore law and order in our nation’s Capitol

Chaos erupted on Capitol Hill on Wednesday when a Code Pink activist disrupted a Senate subcommittee hearing by ranting about Israel. The activist, Brian McGinnis, a former Marine who is also the Green Party’s candidate for Senate in North Carolina, has a history of cavorting with Holocaust deniers and other terrorist sympathizers. Disrupting an official proceeding is a federal offense, which is why Capitol police rushed to subdue McGinnis and remove him. Sen. Tim Sheehy (R., Mont.), a decorated former Navy SEAL, lent a hand.
During the altercation, McGinnis appeared to suffer a broken arm after lodging his hand in a door to prevent his swift ejection from the chamber. Sheehy was not touching him at the time, but that didn’t stop Democrats, journalists, and other liberal activists—including a fetid array of anti-Semites—from denouncing the senator for attempting to restore law and order in our sacred Capitol complex. “A U.S. Senator just broke the hand of a Marine,” shouted Anthony Aguilar, who was also present to disrupt the proceeding. Aguilar is a disgraced former Green Beret who allegedly fabricated documents to accuse U.S. contractors of committing war crimes in Gaza. “You’re a coward,” he told Sheehy. “Go fuck yourself.”
Dozens echoed the sentiment on social media. “This is lunatic behavior by Sheehy,” wrote Aaron Rupar, the Democratic activist and WNBA superfan who posts partisan propaganda for a living. Most casual observers would assume that Rupar was referring to the anti-Semitic agitator shrieking about how “no one wants to fight for Israel.” But he wasn’t. Max Blumenthal, the son of longtime Clinton adviser Sidney Blumenthal, denounced Sheehy for “helping cops manhandle the veteran,” and said he expected to “see much more of this as the Zionist war drags on.”
Nina Turner, a former Democratic lawmaker and Bernie Sanders ally with a long history of anti-Israel activism, joined the pile-on. “Wow, Senator Sheehy really is down for war,” she wrote. “How disgusting.” Jake Lahut, a former Condé Nast journalist who was fired for berating the human resources officer after the company announced layoffs at Teen Vogue, also questioned Sheehy’s motivations for attempting to keep the peace. An account dedicated to electing Gov. Tim Walz (D., Minn.) as president in 2028 weighed in as well, writing: “Sen. Sheehy just broke a Marine’s arm for simply protesting against this illegal war Trump has brought us into.”
Doing what comes naturally, the Montana Democratic Party condemned Sheehy for his “shameful and embarrassing” attempt to uphold federal law. “Montana deserves better representation than a power-drunk tough guy,” the party posted on its official X account. The angsty comments from Democrats, journalists, and liberal activists were amplified by anti-Semitic influencers who explained their contempt for Sheehy’s action in more explicit terms.
“FUCK ISRAEL,” one self-described “eugenicist” wrote in response to video of the altercation. Nick Fuentes, the “Nazi twink” influencer who has expressed support for Gov. Gavin Newsom (D., Calif.), called Sheehy a “disgusting slut” for assaulting an American hero on Israel’s behalf. “People are getting the shit kicked out of them, figuratively and now literally, for wanting to put America first,” he said. “It’s a pretty disgusting sight.”
