White House border czar Tom Homan and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Rodney Scott touted advances the Trump administration has made in securing the border this year during a press conference along the San Diego–Tijuana border wall on Dec. 13.
“I’m proud to be standing on the most secure border in the history of the nation today because of President Trump and his leadership,” Homan told reporters on Saturday morning.
