House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) has been giving a long speech on July 3 in an attempt to delay voting on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, consisting of President Donald Trump’s signature legislative agenda.

“I’m still here to take my sweet time,“ he said on the House floor.
