Journalists Recount Antifa Violence in Roundtable With Trump

WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump brought journalists assaulted by the newly designated terrorist group Antifa together with Cabinet officials for a roundtable discussion at the White House on Oct. 8.

Antifa is a far-left extremist group with origins in the Soviet Union that functioned as a violent wing of the Communist Party in Germany. The organization is known for political violence against its opponents, whom it routinely labels as fascists.
