âWeâre going to end up in a depression based on whatâs been happeningâ Trump said in Sundayâs video message.
NBC aired a message from former President Donald Trump one day after Vice President Kamala Harris appeared on Saturday Night Live (SNL).
Trump, after greeting fans of sports, noted that the presidential election is slated for Nov. 5.
âWeâre two days away from the most important election in the history of our country. Weâve got to save our country, and it needs saving. Itâs in very bad shape,â Trump said.
âWeâre going to end up in a depression based on whatâs been happening,â he added later.
âWe have to straighten out our country, we have to close our borders, we have to lower our taxes, we have to get rid of inflation. I’ll fix it.
NBC declined to provide a comment on the development.
Harris appeared live during Saturdayâs SNL. She participated in a skit that portrayed her speaking to another version of herself ahead of the election.
âIt is nice to see you, Kamala, and Iâm just here to remind you, you got this. You can do something your opponent cannot do. You can open doors,â Harris told Maya Rudolph, who was playing the vice president and had said she wished she could talk to someone âwhoâs been in my shoes; a black, South Asian woman running for president, preferably from the Bay Area.â
The regulator gives an example of a qualified candidate appearing on a station. In that scenario, the station âwill be required to entertain requests for Equal Opportunities by opposing legally qualified candidates for the same office,â the FCC states. âHowever, the station is not required to seek out opposing legally qualified candidates and offer them Equal Opportunities.â
