Temporary Protected Status Expires for 76,000 Citizens of Honduras and Nicaragua

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced the cancellation of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for citizens of Honduras and Nicaragua.

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem announced the cancellation of TPS for Honduras and Nicaragua in separate statements, effective Sept. 8, 2025, 60 days after the publication of the cancellation notice in the Federal Register.
