WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump is attending a performance of Les MisĂ©rables on June 11 at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, a cultural institution he has sharply criticized in the past for promoting “woke” programming.

“We’ve seen it a number of times. It’s fantastic,” Trump told reporters as he walked in with First Lady Melania Trump. “We have others coming—other great ones are coming.”
