Vice President Kamala Harrisās campaign has not yet released August fundraising figures.
Former President Donald Trumpās presidential campaign raised $130 million in August, with 98 percent of donations coming from small donors contributing under $200, the TrumpāVance campaign reported on Sept. 4.
The average donation was $56. The campaign ended August with $295 million cash on hand, āensuring the resources needed to propel President Trumpās campaign to victory,ā a campaign statement said.
Vice President Kamala Harrisā presidential campaign has not yet released August fundraising figures.
āWith Republicans united and a growing number of Independents and disaffected Democrats crossing partisan lines, the TrumpāVance campaign has momentum for the final stretch of the race,ā senior Trump campaign adviser Brian Hughes said in the fundraising announcement. āThese fundraising numbers from August are a reflection of that movement.ā
After President Joe Biden stepped down from the top of the ticket and endorsed Harris on July 21, the vice presidentās campaign announced it had raised $204.5 million in July alone.
Following the Democratic National Convention on Aug. 25, Harrisās campaign said that in the five weeks since she took over Bidenās spot as the Democratic Partyās presidential nominee, she had raised $540 million.
Earlier this week, the Democratic National Committee said it was partnering with the HarrisāWalz campaign to invest nearly $25 million āin races up and down the ballot ahead of November,ā a figure the campaign said was the largest ever in a presidential cycle.
This includes $10 million each to committees seeking to elect Democrats to the House and Senate, $2.5 million to the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, and $1 million each to the Democratic Attorneys General Association and the Democratic Governors Association.
In July, Trumpās campaign and its related affiliates said they had raised $138.7 million, reporting $327 million on hand at the start of August.
That figure exceeds the $264 million that the Democratic National Committee reported raising during the same period when Biden was still the presumptive nominee.
Several August fundraising figures from committees supporting candidates have yet to be released. The deadline for campaigns, parties, and political action committees to report their August fundraising totals is Sept. 20.
