WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump welcomed Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to the White House on May 7 to discuss trade and regional security matters. The leaders are expected to hold a bilateral meeting in the Oval Office, followed by a lunch in the Cabinet Room.
“They will discuss economic and security matters of shared importance,” a White House official told The Epoch Times.
