WASHINGTON—U.S. President Donald Trump welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the White House on Monday to explore paths to end Russia’s war in Ukraine.
The meeting was the first of two that Trump scheduled for the day as part of his push to resolve the Ukraine conflict after 3 1/2 years of fighting. Following his bilateral meeting with Zelenskyy, Trump brought in additional European leaders for a larger multilateral meeting.
