President Donald Trump said on April 17 that talks aimed at ending the war in Iran are ongoing and will carry on over the weekend, though he suggested that “good things” may come out of the negotiations.
“We’re having a big day. We’ll see how it all turns out, but it should be good. We’ve had some very good discussions,” the president told reporters after arriving in Arizona.
