Trump to Appear With Tucker Carlson in Arizona Just Days Before Election

The former president will be able to make a final appeal to voters in a key swing state.

Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to appear with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in Arizona on Oct. 31.

The event, part of the “Tucker Carlson Live Tour,” at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale will take place just five days before the election, in which Arizona is a top battleground.

Carlson, who also leads his own streaming platform, said in a video posted on X that his conversation with the Republican presidential nominee will be the “grand finale” of the tour.

All proceeds from the event will go toward hurricane relief.

The event was announced hours before Carlson took the stage at a Turning Point Action rally in Duluth, Georgia, to rally support for Trump.

Carlson noted that Trump has faced various investigations, indictments, political attacks, and assassination attempts since joining the political sphere.

“And he’s going to win anyway!” he told the crowd before Trump took the stage.

Carlson has been a staunch supporter of the 45th president, joining him at sporting events and sitting in the VIP box at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July. He is also close with Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio).

Carlson addressed the convention, where he made the case for Trump in the aftermath of the first attempted assassination of the former president at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“When he stood up after being shot in the face, bloodied, and put his hand up, I thought, at that moment, that was a transformation. This was no longer a man,” Carlson said in July.

“I think it was divine intervention. But the effect that it had on Donald Trump [was that] he was no longer just a political party’s nominee, or a former president, or a future president. This was the leader of a nation. And I think there’s a difference.”

Arizona, a battleground state, is expected to play a vital role in determining the next president. Trump’s appearance there will allow him to make a final pitch for why he is the right candidate for the job.

Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, has been making her final rounds in the swing states with the help of high-profile supporters such as Oprah Winfrey and former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. Bruce Springsteen is slated to perform at a rally featuring Harris and Obama in Atlanta on Oct. 24.

On Oct. 29, the Democrat will make her closing argument for why she should occupy the Oval Office with a speech on Washington’s Ellipse—the same spot where Trump delivered his remarks on Jan. 6, 2021.
