The U.S. military said on June 3 that it struck a vessel in the eastern Pacific operated by designated terrorist organizations, killing two people.
Part of Operation Southern Spear, the operation marks U.S. Southern Command’s latest strike against alleged cartel vessels trafficking drugs into the United States after the Trump administration designated the drug trafficking groups as terrorist organizations.
