(Reuters)—U.S. Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance said on Thursday he agreed to debate his Democratic rival Tim Walz on October 1 on CBS and September 18 on CNN.
“The American people deserve as many debates as possible … I look forward to seeing you at both,” he said in a post on the X social media network.
Walz agreed to the October 1 debate Wednesday but has yet to confirm the September debate.
