A federal grand jury in Washington indicted the suspected shooter at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner last month on four federal charges May 5, including attempting to assassinate the president.
Cole Tomas Allen, 31, the alleged gunman, also faces a charge of assaulting an officer of the United States with a deadly weapon and two firearms charges.
