Tom Herman, a Republican, announces his candidacy for California’s 33 Congressional District, where he seeks to use the knowledge and experience in financial administration that he has gained as a church administrator and successful real estate investor to serve his fellow citizens. Tom is a family man who believes in putting God and country first in his life, family and work.
In government, Tom believes in putting America first and will fight for a balanced budget (cut government spending), secure borders, a strong military, free speech, religious freedom, family rights and energy independence. With respect to foreign policy, Tom will fight for treaties and trade agreements that benefit the US and it’s business community, support for Israel as our greatest ally in the Middle East, accountability for foreign aid and a tougher stance against China and terrorism. In this way all Americans can have a safe and stable country where they will be able to pursue their dreams.
The citizens of the 33rd District deserve someone like Tom who with integrity and honesty will put their needs first, and not some political agenda or special interest groups. It’s time to restore common sense and fiscal responsibility to our government and make it once again a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
