Terri Newsome, an activist from the Southside of Chicago who is showing vigilance for the America First agenda, has independently uncovered injustices plaguing his community from Democrat leadership in Chicago and the illegal invasion of the US.
Newsome’s lengthy investigation into the escalating crime rate among illegals started with media coverage of the Inn of Chicago around Oct. 2023. According to ABC News at the time, the hotel was shut down in the fall for housing 9,800 illegals, and Newsome went to the location and started looking around.
At the time, according to media reports, there were more than 3,000 other illegals who were overflowing into police stations and airports waiting for a more permanent location, just as Ben Bergquam reported.
Last week, Newsome was caught off guard when he received an unexpected response to his Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request about the area of the Inn of Chicago.
The astounding disclosure he received indicated a considerable count of probable illegals facing criminal charges from the vicinity he was probing. Notably, the response comprised a substantial 200-page compilation of incidents from an area previously designated exclusively for officials with badges and “new arrivals” who are unlawfully present in the country.
The level of crimes around an area known to be protected for illegals is offering insight into the magnitude of how often illegals commit crimes, which contradicts the narrative that Chicagoans are assured doesn’t exist.
“We are told illegals don’t commit any crimes,” Newsome reminded Frontline America.
Newsome’s involvement in confronting the rising crime rates intensified when he discovered that buses of undocumented individuals were being dropped off at suburban train stations early in the fall. Then, motivated by a commitment to transparency about metal detectors in public spaces where illegals are congregating, Newsome filed the request about the same time- and almost forgot.
But he got his answer.
“I asked specifically for incidents associated with the Inn of Chicago at the specific address during the time media reports show that the space was being used exclusively for illegals. This is where the media says the city houses the people from Venezuela,” Newsome told Frontline American.
The Inn of Chicago is closed to the public, according to multiple sources:
Proof that the Inn of Chicago was close to the public caught on film:
“This is my first visit to the Inn of Chicago. I went alone. Again, this hotearly only for illegals! Unfortunately, I can’t speak Spanish. The one illegal “aid “Trump”! Newsome said.
More video proof the Inn of Chicago was closed to the public, offered by Newsome:
“Look how fast he takes his badge off!” Newsome says about this footage:
So he got a great idea- find out the crime around the area.
Screengrab of Newsome’s FOIA request parameters sent to the Department of Police for the City of Chicago received March 20, 2024, provided by Newsome.
The subsequent FOIA responses arrived, revealing a plethora of offenses spanning from minor traffic infractions to severe violent crimes. These revelations starkly contradicted claims suggesting that “immigrants commit fewer crimes” than native citizens.
But how many “native citizens” were in the area? As the video above shows, a badge is needed to be in the area, so we can assume there are not that many.
Further, in an example of what Newsome got back, with names that are heavily Venzuelean, one can deduce that many of the names are of people in the country illegally:
“There are even some listings with mugshots,” Newsome said about the results of his FOIA search.
According to Newsome, the connections are apparent and point to illegals. During a candid interview, he also divulged to Frontline America the firsthand experiences his friends and associates recounted about their victimizations.
“My friend Tina’s brother got robbed in Chicago. She’s a Moms For America. Three weeks ago, my high school friend’s sons were robbed and carjacked at gunpoint in Chicago, going to work as Union Elevator mechanics. They told the boys we have your addresses as a threat! An hour later, the thieves got into a gunfight and were arrested with the car. I have lived here my entire life. The last two years have been off the charts, not just in the inner city but also in the burbs,” he said, providing a screenshot of a warning about violent crimes targeting union members:
The crime issues and the erosion of support for Democrats in Newsome’s area are intertwined because Democrats have created this problem with Democrat Joe Biden’s re-entry into the United Nations Compact for Human Migration after President Donald Trump rescued America in 2016 and took the nation out of the problematic agreement to embrace illegal invaders.
“The union guys around here are sick of the crime.” And it is not just the Union guys in the South who are frustrated. We covered Newsome’s event focusing on Union members on the South side who are former Democrats:
Bergquam and Newsome, along with former Democrat activists from the area, have been investigating the impact of illegals on Chicago neighborhoods and sharing the details on the WarRoom with Steve Bannon, focusing primarily on the Black Community where residents sadly say they feel like they are literally replaced with illegals.
We covered that story:
And there is more to come still.
Newsome has shared that his recent explorations led him to various locations, including Gage Park, where immigrants had taken over public spaces, leaving residents feeling unsafe and marginalized.
Newsome recorded a quick video showing that the public had been shut out of the area and denied the use of public restrooms:
He provided these photos:
“People reported to me that they wanted their park area back. These are the areas where children would play and now they are unsafe because of the rising threat of crime,” Newsome told Frontline America.
Newsome reported that he recently heard of a murder in that exact area, telling Frontline America that he plans to file a second FOIA for that area.
In the following video provided by Newsome shows the way he is treated by the Chicago Office of Emergency Management when he is investigating:
Despite facing hostility from some law enforcement officials during his investigations, as seen below with Bergquam, Newsome said that he has also encountered encouragement from certain Chicago police officers who potentially shared his concerns about the immigration crisis. Newsome said that their concerns may be why he got a response from the FOIA from the police department, and he anticipates now that he has gotten one response, he will get others.
In the following video with Bergquam and other associates, Newsome is seen demanding answers from city workers while police appear to attempt to assist the crew. Bergquam, Newsome, and their party are told that media and others can not be in public areas, as illegals are being warmed in buses and given provisions.
This is an example of the reassuring experience Newsome has had all around Chicago:
Newsome provided an example of a document he has been given from the Chicago Office of Emergency Management meant to scare him away from a property:
Undeterred by intimidation tactics, Newsome, as a concerned American, has visited shelters housing immigrants and uncovered unsettling truths. Despite being labeled as harmless refugees, he has discovered that illegals are subjected to security screenings, including metal detector checks, raising questions about their true intentions.
Yet, the government isn’t asking those questions or seeking that sort of understanding of the problem facing Chicago or the American people.
Newsome’s revelations will likely spark widespread outrage and disbelief among Chicago residents, who feel betrayed by the misinformation propagated by some local authorities.
In collaboration with fellow concerned citizens and journalists like Bannon and Bergquam, Newsome continues to advocate for truth and justice, determined to hold those responsible for the immigration crisis accountable. As the debate rages on, Newsome’s unwavering commitment to his community is a beacon of hope for those seeking answers and accountability in the face of adversity.
The evidence obtained through FOIA requests exposes a stark reality: the government’s misleading portrayal of the immigrant population’s criminal activities. Furthermore, taxpayer-funded support provided for illegals, including the purchase of phones and catering contracts, raises concerns about the allocation of resources amid a contentious immigration debate.
