In Houston this week, a tense standoff erupted between Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and local protesters, an encounter caught on video by Ben Bergquam, correspondent for Real Americaâs Voice and host of Law & Border.

One woman cradling a baby stood in the street screaming at ICE and local police. âYouâre endangering your baby!â one officer shouted back, as law enforcement tried to keep the scene under control and clear the road for emergency vehicles.
Bergquam can be heard narrating as ICE officers coordinate with local police:
âWe need to make sure we can secure the scene⌠a lot of folks here are upset, and we want to make sure everybodyâs safeâthe public, the officers, and the individual himself.â
As the standoff intensified, police moved the woman and others back from the roadway. A crowd of roughly 60 people surrounded the area, many shouting profanities and flipping off officers. Bergquamâs commentary underscores the tension:
âThatâs what weâre up against, America. Itâs not just the illegals that were let inâitâs the communities that are aiding and abetting, protecting them. Like this right hereâwalking out in traffic with her baby. Just pathetic.â

The Department of Homeland Security has not yet released an official statement about the incident, but the footage has already drawn sharp reactions online.
