The overall atmosphere at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, as reported by Ben Bergquam for the WarRoom and Real America’s Voice, was a mix of discontent, criticism, and advocacy from various groups and individuals.
“When did being a woman become all about killing your own babies?” Bergquam wondered, while posting a cheering squad of women at the DNC on the last day of the event.
Democrats showed their customary unity over free and unrestricted abortion, but by getting past that issue, Bergquam found some unhappy Americans who blamed the Democrat Party for their problems.
Some of the diverse crowd around the convention venue who spoke with Bergquam included former felons advocating for their rights and expressing frustration over being ignored by both major political parties. Each one of the people Bergquam spoke with emphasized the need for better representation of their needs, including the potential political impact of the nearly 80 million ex-felons in the U.S., with one man highlighting their dissatisfaction with current policies and treatment.
DEMOCRATS FOR TRUMP WANT JOBS
Among the interviewees were disenfranchised Democratic voters who voiced their plans to support President Trump in the upcoming election. These individuals expressed their dissatisfaction with the Democratic Party’s handling of issues affecting their communities, such as violence, economic disparities, and immigration policies. They criticized the party for taking their votes for granted and failing to deliver tangible improvements, particularly in inner-city areas.
THE ELITE HAVE NO TIME TO EXPLAIN THEIR AGENDA TO THE LITTE PEOPLE
Bergquam also encountered Spike Lee, a prominent Democratic celebrity influencer, who was there to show support for the party. In contrast, Mike Lindell, a well-known conservative figure, was seen inside the convention center, notably about to use a gender-neutral bathroom—a symbol of the Democratic Party’s progressive agenda.
In general, the conversations Bergquam captured on the last day of the event, revealed a significant amount of frustration and skepticism towards the Democratic Party, with numerous local attendees who talked to Bergquam feeling that their communities have been neglected for decades.
There were calls for more action and genuine commitment to solving issues like public safety, economic opportunities, and fair treatment for all citizens, including former felons. The atmosphere was charged with a sense of urgency and a desire for change, with many looking towards the upcoming election as a pivotal moment for addressing these long-standing grievances.
WHY AREN’T DEMOCRATS BRAGGING ABOUT THE ILLEGALS, WHO THEY ARE SUPPORTING WITH OUR MONEY?
Bergquam highlighted a source of confusion over how proud the Democrats are of their agenda while exposing a nearby hotel being used to house illegals and wondered why the Democrats were not using their convention to talk about it.
FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM AND HAVING SOME FUN
Bergquam used the opportunity of being at the DNC to ask some hard-hitting questions too:
Michael Cohen
Rep. Veronica Escobar
