Key Point: In a stark exposĂ© from Chicago, Ben Bergquam, host of Law and Border on Real Americaâs Voice, uncovered evidence of unsafe conditions, taxpayer betrayal, and a growing crisis caused by illegal immigration policiesâhighlighting a hidden shank outside a homeless shelter and interviews with neglected American citizens.
âSomeone just stashed their shank outside, in case they need a knife when they get out,â Bergquam said, pulling a knife out of the ground outside a homeless shelter exposing why Americans need to be protected from illegals.

Chicago, IL â Ben Bergquamâs latest report from the streets of Chicago paints a grim picture of urban decay, government failure, and dangerous double standards.
âJust found this shankâsomeone stashed it outside,â Bergquam said, holding up what appeared to be a sharp steak knife. âThey canât take weapons inside the shelter, so they leave them here, in case they âneedâ to stab someone when they come out.â
The location: the former American Islamic College, now a makeshift migrant shelter. It was once a religious site. Now, itâs one of many taxpayer-funded facilities housing illegal immigrantsâmany from Venezuelaâwhile American citizens suffer steps away.
âThese women? From Venezuela. Illegals,â Bergquam reported. âTheyâre blending them with homeless Americans to make it seem like itâs just one crisis. Itâs not. This is deliberate.â
The video posted to his GETTR and X accounts (@BenBergquam) shows Bergquam navigating the area, speaking with homeless American womenâAmy and her sister Tiffanyâliving on the streets.
âHow long you been out here?â Bergquam asked.
âTheyâre working on getting us out⊠slowly,â Tiffany replied. âBut the illegalsâthey get housing the same day.â
The contrast is clear. Across the street, migrants are protected, housed, and funded. Nearby, veterans and citizens are cold, ignored, and exposed.
âThis is Bidenâs America,â Bergquam said. âTax dollars should go to Americans firstâespecially veterans. Not a dime should go to illegals.â
Chicago is now ground zero for what Bergquam calls the âindustry of illegals,â echoing broader concerns about sanctuary cities and federal mismanagement.
âThis isnât just about immigration. Thereâs an entire business in keeping people homeless,â he warned. âNonprofits and government contractors make money pretending to help, but they never fix it. They donât want to.â
The video follows the release of a statement by Bergquam celebrating President Trumpâs efforts:
âPresident Trump has shut down the border and is deporting them. Democrats? Protesting Trump and doubling down to protect illegals.â
âWe The People support Trump. We The People support ICE. We The People stand against the left!â
Dem. Gov Prizker, who has been at war with Border Czar Tom Homan, has called for violence against Republicans in response to President Trumpâs America First policies:
Calls to â#ArrestPritzkerâ and â#ArrestMayorJohnsonâ appeared alongside Bergquamâs post.
At the heart of Bergquamâs message is a direct challenge to Democrat leadership.
âYouâve got illegals sitting here, getting everything, while American citizens are beaten down,â he said. âThereâs no justice in this. Itâs upside down.â
As he wrapped his street-level tour, Bergquam gestured toward the shelter again: âThisâthis is what Democrats are defending. And this is what Trump is trying to stop.â
The footage is raw. The message is urgent.
âThis isnât about race. Itâs about priorities,â Bergquam concluded. âItâs time to put Americans first. Period.â
